How a betting company works
So, what is the principle of the bookmaker's office? Its main task is to stay in the black, that is, to always bring money. Judging by the number of advertising contracts and persons who are involved in the promotion of BK, it can be judged that most bookmakers do an excellent job.
Types of bets
Opening the line, a beginner is frightened not only by the number of events, but also by the possible betting options. After all, one of the principles of a bookmaker's office is variability, which allows you to distribute the cash flow. Therefore, there are several types and types of bets.
The types include:
- Ordinare. Betting on one event in a match (for example, the victory of one of the teams) with a fixed odd.
- Express. A wager on the result of several events (two or more singles), in which the odds of each single, included in the express, are multiplied. The result is a higher odds, but the chance that all events end up with the chosen outcome is noticeably lower.
- System. Most questions from bettors concern how the system works in BC. It is a combined set of bets consisting of several expresses. When forming a system, the dimension plays an important role (for example, "2 of 3", where there are 3 expresses of two single bets), according to which the calculation is made. The Тhailand bet sum in such a case is divided by the number of parlays.
- Totalizator. An additional type of betting, in which bets are made on the outcome or the exact score of several matches (most often 15). All participants bet a fixed amount, and 90% is divided between the winners. The remaining 10% goes to the bookmaker.
Now about what is the type of bet:
- Outcome. Bettor puts on a victory of a particular team (athlete) or a draw, if it is provided by the rules of the sport. The outcome can be both for the whole match, and for a certain period (half/game/set). Also the outcome can be long-term (a bet on who wins the whole tournament).
- Pass. Used in knockout competitions between teams or individual athletes. The bettor has two options: in the next round will pass team (athlete) "1" or "2".
- Total. Bet on the number of goals scored or points scored (TL - total less, TM - total more). For example, if a player bets on the account of a soccer match ТB 3.5, his bet will pass, if in the match will be scored 4 or more goals.
- Handicap. A bet in which the bettor gives a "handicap" (F) of a certain number of goals/points for one of the teams/athletes. For example, a bet F 2.5 on one of the soccer teams will pass if it beats his opponent with a margin of 3 goals or more.
- Score. The player is asked to choose the exact score, which will end with a particular event.
- Both will score (the team will score). A bet on whether both teams will be able to score in a match or only one of the opponents.
- Other statistics. Betting on certain statistics, whether it be possession of the ball in a match or the number of cards earned.
Types of bets constantly overlap with each other. For example, such a type of bet, as expresses, consists of one or more types. That is, a parlay (also if a system bet is made) can include bets on the outcome, total and handicap together.
Finally, bets can be on upcoming events (when the event has not yet started) and on the ongoing events (Live). Such bets in the classification of bookmakers are considered separately from types and types.
